MLS Expansion Thread

There is already a lot of questionable talent in the MLS, I don't see why they need to expand so quickly.

and it seems incredibly backwards for how soccer operates in most of the world.

You're supposed to play your way to the top leagues, not buy a license.

The US seems to be distancing itself from a promotion/relegation system entirely even though the NASL and MLS is already perfect for such a system.

MLS is lucky they play in the summer time though, they will never compete with the NFL or even the NBA.

Baseball is fair game though. I'm 24 years old and I don't know too many people my age who watch baseball. A lot of my friends watch soccer though.

Honestly, the FIFA video game is mostly responsible for the rise in soccer interest in the US IMO

It took them awhile to get organized, but I'm glad it's finally here.
