Orlando City are reportedly interested in Nocerino joining Kaká in their midfield for 2016. The 30-year-old Nocerino, who has earned 15 caps for the Italian national team, has been with Milan since 2011 but was sent out on loan the last two years, most recently to Parma. He previously played for Juventus and Palermo.

Elsewhere, New York City FC are reportedly trying to lure left back Rónald Matarrita, a 21-year-old left back who’s currently with Costa Rica’s Alajuelense and has already debuted for the Costa Rican national team.

Alajuelense club director Marco Vasquez confirmed that Matarrita will leave Costa Rica, saying that he’ll play “either in New York or Europe.”

The Houston Dynamo will also look to bolster their back line and reportedly made an offer to Argentine center back Matías Sarulyte. The 26-year-old currently plays for Argentine club Estudiantes de La Plata.

Diego Forlan interested in joining MLS, awaiting any offers

He's played professionally in seven countries and three different continents, but Uruguayan forward Diego Forlan still has the itch to play in new places.

The forward, who helped Uruguay win the 2011 Copa América, among many other honors in his long career, has been linked with MLS in the past and is now apparently interested in coming to the league.

Forlan briefly discussed his MLS prospects, among other topics, with oDeporte Total USA at the Univision Deportes awards on Sunday in Miami.

"You see on television that MLS is a tournament that attracts attention and the level of football has grown a lot," Forlan said in Spanish. "I still have not had an offer to come but we'll see."

Forlan, 36, has frequently been spotted vacationing in the US in recent years. Currently playing in his homeland for Peñarol, he's previously lined up for Manchester United, Villarreal, Atlético Madrid and Inter Milan.

Yes, huge move for the kid. I hope he does well.

Someday MLS will be able to hang onto these young prospects.

Tim Howard to Colorado looking like a real possibility. What a waste considering they have one of the better young goal keeps in the league. Put that money somewhere else!!
