What is your favorite type of bet and sport to bet on?
I was always best at the NFL (though you wouldn't be able to tell from how I have done through my overall picks through the first two weeks of this season)...and would bet with spread (as opposed to odds).
But I really like parlays, especially more recently since I have gotten away from gambling big money. I like doing like a 5 game parlay that pays like 20-1, because I don't bet enough to where if I lose it's no big deal but if I win it's a nice chunk of change.
It rarely wins, obviously, but I have won them enough (I think to where it pays off)...or sometimes I just would do 3 or 4 game parlays and bet my favorite bets straight up.
With the NBA, I think it is not good to bet on games....too many games come down to free throws, or a team being ahead by a lot and resting starters, or the team down by a lot just shooting 3s and closing the gap to a level that makes it look closer than the game really was.
In college we used to call different bookies and if we found like a 2 point difference in the threads we would try to land in between by like taking +5 for $500 on the underdog and -3 for the favorite for $500. You lose juice most all the time but on occasion will win that $1,000. I specifically remember a time we found those exact differences in a game at the last minute and didn't try and call it in and it landed at a 4 point victory in between, which sucked.

Re: What is your favorite type of bet and sport to bet on?
Football definitely is the most fun for me. I love analyzing the spreads and trying to figure out who to bet on. I prefer sides over totals. And I always do a couple of parlays. Hard to hit but fun when you do. In the pre internet days I remember walking up and down the strip in Vegas trying to find the best numbers on certain games. They were mostly the same at each casino but not always.
I also always make some future bets in the offseason. Super Bowl, World Series, etc... I pick 2-3 teams. Futures bets are posted very early in the offseason. Those can and do change quite a bit as it gets closer to the season with transactions, injuries, etc... 'll do some over/under on win totals in all sports as well.
I stay away from NBA and MLB games. Too hard IMO. I wrote some programs years ago to do sports betting. It was fun but overall it didn't really give me an edge.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Football is my favorite by far. Prefer college because I've had a little more success there. I tend to gravitate towards totals but enjoy the spread as well.

football
used to be baseball but don't have enough time
nba is a total crap shoot imo
straight bets and teasers (2 team most profitable)
parlays are a waste of money for me, even two teamers

Parlays are a waste but honestly there's nothing more fun than betting a 3-4 parlay in Vegas with your boys and rooting on the last game...with drinks of course

NBA fantasy is my ish. No smith. I love the easy strategy options and being able to dissect the game from the individual players' perspectives. I hope it will help me get out the Hood. No rodney. Or at least lead to finding something else I Love. No kevin. But for now I'm cool with it just helping enhance how I watch Ball. No lonzo.

Definitely basketball with all the point shaving (to cover spreads, obviously), it's really an interesting angle when you analyze the games before betting.
If there is no basketball in heaven, i am not going.

NFL straight bets. The NBA when you can find good trends, the warriors 3rd qr bets were hitting a very high percentage for a few seasons.

Hi! For me, soccer is the ultimate sport, and betting on it has completely transformed the way I watch the game. It adds an extra layer of excitement and strategy, making every match even more thrilling. Recently, I came across a website called Kikobet Casino, and I was impressed by the wealth of information they offer related to online gambling and sports betting.
What really caught my attention were the details about welcome bonuses and promotions. Kikobet provides thorough insights and advice on how to maximize these offers, making it easier for newcomers and experienced players alike to make informed decisions. Whether you're looking to dive into virtual gambling or enhance your sports betting experience, this site is a fantastic resource. It's truly changed how I approach betting, giving me the tools to make smarter choices and enjoy the games even more.

College Football due to the talent disparity between teams and the fact there are so many teams so there is money to be made, especially if you focus on the non Power 5 conferences. 90% of bets are on totals (team total and over/under)

Football and basketball definitely are my favorites!
I always prefer the moneyline. It's the most common type of bets.

Baseball and basketball is too much a crapshoot. Granted, you can find value since there are so many games but it's too much work for me. Same with college football. So I stick to the NFL for my main betting and do other sports for **** and giggles from time to time.
