Carter and Mabrey played the entire first half. TSpoon's rotations have really gone off the deep end lately.

whatever she provides on offense is not enough compared to what she takes away for her defense

Betnijah needs to get healthy because she can't be looking that good when she doesn't play.

Feels a bit like "triple double king" Russell Westbrook as MVP. These are "low calorie" stats not linked to winning.

Great games by Jonquel, Fiebich and Thornton. Great second half by Sabrina. Stewie still can't hit a shot, but doing everything else. Good to see Sabally back. Betnijah can spend the rest of the season in street clothes if she's going to look like that. Liberty finally decided maybe they should play defense against Mabrey. Vandersloot almost turned Lindsay Allen into a hero. Izzy Harrison showed great footwork inside. Chennedy Carter did work. Thank goodness she can't shoot threes.
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

Someone on reddit posted this players tribune article by Chennedy written back in 2018. It's really fascinating insight on her that I recommend anyone who has become enamored with this talented young lady's game to read:

https://www.theplayerstribune.com/articles/chennedy-carter-texas-am

So my dad came up with the perfect drill for me: In our backyard in Mansfield, Texas, he’d make me dribble a tennis ball in the grass. At first it was impossible. I could get one or two dribbles and the ball would bounce off my palm and go five feet the wrong way. I’d get mad. I wanted to be A.I.

“If you can learn to dribble in this grass,” my dad would say. “Imagine what you could do with a basketball.”

He was right. And I needed good handles because I had two older brothers and a younger one who played on the street with me. And they were physical. Like we’d play two-on-two, and, no joke, it was straight up street rules. Elbows were flyin’, hair was getting pulled, bodies being thrown around — anything went. Sometimes kids from around the neighborhood would join in … but never any girls. It was always me and a bunch of boys. So I got better because I had to be. Otherwise they’d kick me right out.

Mr. Lainey-Hamilton is a very lucky man :) we need her on the court though I hope this knee issue won't persist past the break.

I'm not too pressed on Stewie's shooting, her defense is what really drives us. Let Jonquel and Sabrina carry the load offensively. Plus, when Stewie needs to score, she will.

Yesterday was a textbook Liberty game. Lollygag for 2 quarters and then turn up the heat midway through the 3rd. I just pray they stop doing this as we get closer to the playoffs
