Nope, none of that. Win as a team, lose as a team. Yall need more time in the incubator before you're ripe enough to play with the big dogs
Nah. You win as a player as well. If you show up... you show up. Yall could not handle her. Just like we go in on players who dont show up. You show love to those who do. She showed up against a good team. Im going to salute that. The SKY was not expected to win in the first place.
Chen dropped 22 and 5 so I'll give her credit.
Still whooped that ass tho
Nah we owed yall from the last time. The Sky played tough
Carter had a great game, but the Liberty played very smart defense against her. Fiebich as the primary defender stayed in front, and then used her length to contest. Carter got some buckets on Fiebich, but did most of her work against other defenders and in transition. Early on, both Mabrey and Carter were cooking, but when the Liberty brought in Thornton, they used her on Mabrey, and left Fiebich on Carter.
But the big thing the Liberty did was NOT foul. Carter doesn't shoot threes, so if she doesn't get to the line her overall efficiency is going to be limited. Carter was 10-21 from the field, which is great, especially for a guard, but she didn't take or make a three, and was 2-4 from the line. That's a 48.3 TS% on 32% usage. I will gladly live with that.
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.
