What a series! A great way for the league to top off its record breaking season. Definitely a more interesting series than have been the past 2 NBA Finals.

Noa Dalzell is a really good Celtics reporter and I just noticed she's now a senior WNBA writer for SBNation and is providing some terrific coverage of the Finals if you guys want to check her twitter feed. Lots of highlight videos and links to articles.

All three games of this series were absolute slugfests and the stars have made jaw dropping plays on both teams. The last NBA finals i could barely keep my eyes open (sorry bisme37).

Courtney Williams' game 1 explosion, Stewie posting 50 points across games 2 and 3, Phee with just incredible 2 way plays and Sabrina hitting the shot of the season. And we still have possibly two more games to go

Liberty are a great team and deserved that win, but IMO, it goes different if Alanna doesn't get hurt.

Liberty finished closing the gap in the 3rd while Alanna was out. Alanna stumbling back out for a couple very injured minutes in the 4th didn't help.

Lynx are great and have depth, but Alanna is so important for them (she was such an all-star snub). Particularly when the are already undersized.
Alanna, IMO, has been a major reason they can do what they've done while undersized.

After the whole comeback that Alanna could have helped prevent, a go-ahead basket in the final minutes was JJ at the basket with BC trying to guard her.

Great game and great win. I hope Alanna's back and ankle are right for Game 4. With all the amazing things she's doe this year, I hope she's healthy enough to give it her all here at the end.

While I'm in my Alanna flowers fest, her injury could swing the WNBA Finals, but 24 months ago, she had thought her WNBA career was over.

Also, JJ got a couple blocked shots on Phee in the 2nd half. Maybe that doesn't happen if Alanna is pulling JJ out of the paint.

Alanna has said she's hurting but is "OK" and plans to play tomorrow. How much she plays and how effective she is is a huge question for the Lynx. They're a different team without her as we saw last night. I hope she's good enough to be something of herself because win or lose this has been too good of a series and I don't want to see it tainted by injuries. To either side.

I agree with the assessment regarding Alanna. Losing her is a critical blow for Minnesota. Fandom aside, I hope she can give it a go.

SO IT'S COME TO THIS!!!

Game 4 on tap and it's do or die for the Minnesota Lynx. I expect them to leave it all on the floor tonight and for Reeve to throw everything including the kitchen sink out there to try to get the win. Courtney Williams has been rather quiet the last 2 games so I expect a bit of an explosion. Alanna should be out there and I don't see her backing down from anything unless she literally can't move anymore. And Phee should be in full MVPhee mode. If the Lynx go down, it's gonna be swinging.

The liberty meanwhile have the emotional and mental advantage by a good deal after that shot and basically controlling the series save for the 1st quarter on Wednesday. I don't think it's a stretch to say they have the talent advantage as well so really they just have to keep doing what they're doing.

I'm hoping the Lynx take this one because the series deserves to go 5 games, but I wouldn't be shocked to see NY end it tonight. Either way, it'll be a great watch.

Go Lynx!!!

Tie game at the end of 1. There's no way this doesn't come down to the final shot.

I can’t believe I read somewhere that Phee can’t dance. Her dance in the paint is art.

Phee has officially broken the record for points scored in a single post season.

They do the electric slide after every win. Phee can dance.

CW is so shifty and fast. Kind of reminds me of Tony Parker
