She's been terrific.

Reeve needs to get some Exec of the Year votes for Carrington, Kliundikova the Sky pick.

Stewie or not, that was quite a statement from the Lynx.

has she always been this good of a 3 point shooter?

She’s been super impactful since the first minute of her Lynx career. Absolute game changer in this role

My heart sunk when I saw that trade go through :noway: Dijonai is a dog for real.

She was made for this team.

As badly as I wanted to add Emma's size, Dijonai might be the more impactful player for this squad.

Paige is back today. Which is great because Paige vs Citron is must-see TV.

Shakira Austin is out.
Still don't love the idea of trading Aaliyah Edwards away because Austin finally stayed healthy for 20 games.
She's fantastic, but betting her to stay healthy seems risky.

Jacy with a nice start to her Mystics tenure.
Got a 3 taken away by an off-ball offensive foul.

AC too. Well, nice start to her 2nd Mystics tenure.

Paige is a bad bad woman.

Not looking like a big Citron scoring game. They are blitzing the hell out of her every time she's near a screen. Mystics don't have an answer so far.
Though she is finding the open teammate.

Nevermind. You can try to contain Citron, but you can't stop her.
Same with Kiki.

Poor Paige. From the sublime of UConn to the ridiculousness of the Wings. She's gotta be looking at Citron and Kiki on the Mystics and be thinking "Why couldn't I be playing with you?"

As for the Mystics, they are a lesson in how one draft can turn a franchise from being seemingly hopeless to interesting/exciting. Just wow.

I don't trust the Mystics as a franchise, but Weideman is really good at her job.

Mystics and Sky will always be linked in a way. Both poverty franchises in markets that shouldn't be. The last franchises to win titles outside of Vegas, New York, and Seattle.

But the Mystics have a good GM, and the Sky still have **** Jeff.

It's not often you see a team go on a 17-0 run in the 1st qtr and lose, but Seattle found a way to do it. Now dropped 5 straight. Missing the Playoffs after the Sykes trade would be an absolute disaster. Though Sykes was fantastic last night, and took over the 4th quarter.

Plum almost singlehandedly brought the Sparks back, and then everybody else joined in.

I really hope the Sparks make the Playoffs. They are so much better than their record, and fun to watch.
Brink only played 11 minutes but she was pretty awesome in those minutes.

Not many bright spots in Seattle right now, but Malonga does have back to back 20 point double-doubles.
Although, part of the reason she's getting so many minutes is that they aren't getting much from Ezi.

Ezi got yanked from the game when she let Brink steal a a crucial offensive rebound on a free-throw that led to a 3.

Brink v Malonga will be a lot of fun going forward.

Even with a 30-20 from A'ja, the Sun made a great game of it on the road.

Sun are better than people think and a fun watch.
I kind of like what the Sun are building.

Rivers is going to be a stud, and I think Lacan is too.
Mabrey might stay now that she has a certain reason to stick around.

If Rivers and Lacan could shoot, they'd be the best young guard duo in the league lol.

Coach of the Year race is absolutely nuts.

Assuming Reeve can't win it, even though she's always a great candidate.
Steph White making a great case, but the Fever are probably too talented for her to win, even with all the games CC has missed.

Seems like a 2-horse race between Nakase and Smesko.
Whoever loses it would feel like a snub. What they've both done has been absolutely incredible.

If I were betting, I'd bet on Nakase.
But Smesko is more than deserving. ATL has been the quintessential malaise franchise for forever, and he's turned them into a quasi-contender. Only say quasi because it's just so hard to imagine anybody besides MIN or NY really winning it all (or a healthy Indy, but it feels a year too early).

Either way, some supers strong new coaching blood into the league is great. (Sydney Johnson and Lynne Roberts seem legit too.)

Valks hatching "Violet the Raven" on birdwatchers night with bird binoculars and all the Easter "eggs" scattered throughout was fantastic.

The Valks really just don't miss on anything as a franchise.

We'll give Violet some time to develop.
She's trying to be a West Coast Ellie for now, which is fine. Takes time to develop into a legend.

But the "hatching" was awesome.

I lean Nakase.

There's plenty of room on the boat for Violet. I wonder if her and Ellie will have a dance off?

My money is on the Queen of Mascots, of course. Ellie is sass personified.
