Swoopes has gotten a lot of crap for 'hating' on Clark so it will be interesting how she commentates todays game. She doesn't need to drool over her or emphatically say she's elite or any of that imo, but some credit would be enough.

What did Sheryl say now?

I really wish this stuff wasn't happening. Clark has never said anything but gracious things about the older generation so I dunno what this is even about. I also don't like how that person was talking towards Sheryl. Have some respect.

This is a time where everyone should be rallying around the current Gen of WNBA players. We're literally seeing monumental change happening in real time. It kills the vibe with this unnecessary drama.

No idea.
I've listened to all of the QotC podcasts this season. I've felt like she's been pretty positive about Caitlin and then stuff shows up on social media doesn't match what Sheryl said in the podcast.

My only exposure is the podcast from about May until now, so I don't know what was said before (I'd heard about Sheryl saying some inaccurate things when Caitlin was in college). And of course, I don't know Sheryl's personal feelings.

But what I've heard her say has been positive and I've seen her misquoted multiple times.

Either way, I agree. It's a beautiful moment for the sport and the league. No reason to spoil it with unnecessary drama wherever it's coming from.

Looks like Swoopes was removed from the upcoming broadcast between the Fever and Wings.

She didn't say anything. The last thing that got blown over proportion was her not saying anything on the broadcast when her co commentator mentioned CC as players of the week or month.

She's been talking trash to people on twitter who were going at it for it which was the tweet i posted
She's been getting harassed about her radio silence on CC on air. social media folks are insane harassing her for things like that, but yeah makes me wonder how she'll commentate since she's been engaging with those folks about it.

Yeah this stuff isn't helping.

Well she got removed from the broadcast so that's that.

Oh wow. Maybe she did say something, but I wouldn't know. I love her and Caitlin (and Angel and all these ladies).

Whenever negative stuff gets reported, I don't pay much attention. Maybe I'm naive, but I see a bunch women playing their ass off with a lot of respect for the game and each other. If I'm wrong, I'm okay with that.

Probably won't matter for this game (hard to imagine the Sky beating the Lynx in Minny), but man Cardoso looks fantastic and it's good to see her getting so many touches.

I'm still new to this league. When I run into other people just getting exposed, I tell them to make sure they see a Lynx game. Anybody that loves basketball is going to love this team.

Such beautiful ball movement and unselfishness.

But I must admit I'd love to see the Sky pull this out. Sky play some ugly, ugly basketball, but I can't help but love Spoon and these kids and how hard they play.

Sky are good at making it ugly.

You should be good, but these Sky kids are going to keep fighting and maybe make it a long afternoon.
