As MDB mentioned, Sloot as the only lead guard type is a problem.

The Rose are low-key stacked, as well. It means a lot of minutes for Chelsea Gray, but her and pretty much any combination on that team is pretty awesome.

The Gray-Hull-Azura lineup is a fun one. Hull and Azura, in particular, really impressed last night. I assume see them getting more minutes. I'm a huge Angel fan, and I'm excited for the development she can get from this. But if trying to win against 36 of the best 38 players in the world, you probably got to lean on the players with more polished offensive games.

It was interesting to see Kah and Rickea squaring off.

I don't know if it's the format, but Aaliyah Edwards seems quicker and more confident. She's looking really good.

Sabally looked great on Saturday night, but the Lunar Owls are just something else.

A lot of talent on all these other teams, particularly the Laces and for sure my Vinyl. But it's still hard to imagine anybody other than the Owls winning it all.

SDS, Allisha, and Courtney are so badass.

But it's still more that they might also have the best women's basketball player on the planet. Maybe that's foolish, and just because it's been so long since I've watched A'ja play.

But Phee is just so. damn. good.

Haven't been able to watch every game but now often that not, I've been thoroughly entertained.

And really impressive for the Laces to take the Owls to the brink with no AT and a limited Jackie.

The price of the Aces keeping Tip Hayes is going up every Friday, Saturday, and Monday. Well, I guess their price can't change, but the amount of money she'd be passing up to stay keeps going up.

And every time I watch Phee, it makes it harder to believe we just saw somebody beat her in a playoff series. Feels like it may be a long time before that happens again.

Especially her and McBuckets.

Really glad Shakira Austin is in this, especially playing with Phee. If she can stay healthy and keep developing, she can be dominant one day.

Vinyl-Mist was so fun, and Mist get their first W.

Hamby might be my favorite player to watch. She was on fire. She had VInyl with a lead into the 4th even though Arike and Rhyne both were cold as ice.
I wish Aaliyah Boston was on a different team where she could get more minutes.

But the Aaliyah of the night was Ms. Edwards. She's going to have a monster 2nd season.

We were also very unfair to Sloot early in the season. The Mist closed and played most (all?) of the 4th Stewie, Sloot, and Aaliyah.
Sloot was getting Edwards some fantastic looks the whole game. Sky fans have to be excited seeing that last night.

I'm sure the Lunar Owls will lose at some point, but man, it's hard to imagine.

They just play some beautiful basketball. They've go the Phee-advantage, of course, but they have the luxury of SDS or Courtney on the court at all times. They always have great ball-movement and can just pick and roll people to death.

The Vinyl have some great players, and it feels like Spoon is still trying to find the right rotations, which is tough running into a cohesive buzzsaw like the Owls.

Aaliyah Edwards spending the winter with Stewie. Shakira spending the winter with Phee. Both looking confident as hell, and getting everything you hope they would out of this.

If the Mystics weren't a dumpster fire, they'd have a dynasty in the making.

I can't imagine the Lunar Owls losing until they actually do, but the Phantom look really good tonight.

So close for the Mist. They looked really good, and Sloot was cooking on her 37th birthday.

Laces-Vinyl was cancelled because the Laces have too many injuries. I really hope we ever get to see a fully healthy Laces team. They looked so good early on.
