Thank you. I've said before, but I can't tell you how awesome it is and how thankful I am that you guys have carved out a space where people can just talk ball. Especially women's ball.

Shame that it's rare, but it is.

I assume it's going to be a blowout, and most teams aren't going to be able to slow the Fever down, but the Dream seem particularly ill-suited for it

Tough spot to play Griner much, I would think. Canada being out really hurts.

This is a blowout. I think AB has a big night, she's got a score to settle with BG after she got ragdolled last year.

Definitely a blowout. I'm just curious how the Dream even attempt to go about this.

And I already feel bad for Allisha. She's going to need a big ice bath with all the screens she's about to fight through.

Indiana is getting their asses kicked

The fact that CC put in work over the offseason on her midrange shot says everything to me.

Rhyne Howard just stripped her. I apologize to the Dream

And then CC knocks down a catch and shoot off of an AB screen. And then gets the steal.

CC and AB are an elite duo. I've seen enough

This is a huge upset if Atlanta wins here. Indiana was favored by 7.

Indiana doesn't look any better than they did last year. Middle of the road team

Oh, they're better than that. Every new player they signed was terrible last night. Just awful. That won't always be the case unless those were the worst off-season acquisitions in league history. Plus Sophie Cunningham is out and they could very much have used her.

But yes, last night's game did raise the concern that the Fever haven't properly fixed their defense. (Personally, I would have let Mitchell walk. Yes I know she's an offensive sparkplug but her defense is and always will be THAT bad.) Indy's offense has no worries whatsoever but of course the defense needs to be solid for them to contend. It wasn't solid last night.

Missed free throws did the Fever in last night too.

But most importantly, this win for the Dream makes our beloved Mystics look even better.

Fever players not named "Caitlin" only got up 6 3-point shots yesterday. That seems a mistake, given that the Dream started two monsters who are reluctant to leave the paint and who can shut down every Fever big except for Boston.

Letting Mitchell walk would put more pressure on CC to score though, wouldn't it? I would think that the coach needs to come up with ways to cover for the lack of defense from the backcourt

But yeah. They got lit up last night.

Wings vs Lynx is the game of the night and it's available on Fubo and league pass.

I don't have either :( also the game goes up against Knicks vs Pacers game 1. Bad job by the league, I wanna watch Paige and Dijonai :banghead:

More pressure on everybody. At any rate, my comments are premature. Bonner scored 17 points per 36 last year and is only at 6 points this year. We need to have more games to see if she's really fallen off a cliff, or if this is just a slow start. And Cunningham hasn't played yet. If those two are contributing meaningfully to the offense, that will take a lot of pressure off Clark, who was quite frankly asked to do too much last night. I mean, she came through, but I can't imagine going through an entire season carrying that much offensive responsibility, even as the other team rotates defenders to hound/foul her.
