Congrats to my Lady Heels on taking the Bad Boy Mowers Bahamas Tourney.

I think they can do more damage in the ACC than people gave them credit for. Preseason #6, but I think they can compete with State and Duke.

Toomey and Blanca are some nice freshman bigs, and could be a real problem for other teams as they develop. The guards may not be as good as ND and NCSU, but they are really good. Nivar is a gamer on both ends of the floor. Donarski and Kelly are solid.
Not the greatest shooting team, but Crisp or Grant can come off the bench and get hot, as we just saw.

And I'm no W scout, but Ustby seems like she could be a deep W prospect. 6'1". Athletically, she stands out against college players. Great rebounder. Needs to become a better shooter, though she's not terrible.

Hovering down 10 from the jump, and throughout the game is not a position South Carolina finds themselves in much, so I just assumed Staley wanted to lean on the veterans.

Paopao and Tessa were both playing really well, and keeping the game within striking distance.

Doesn't explain Fulwiley only getting 3 minutes, and I really have no idea.

I have no issue with it, MiLaysia is being coached hard for a reason

Fantastic lineup of games today.
NC State vs LSU
UConn vs Ole Miss
Duke vs Oklahoma

A lot of people off work today, and should be a great time to showcase some WCBB.

The problem.......the only way to watch any of those 3 games is Flo Sports.
Flo is $20 a month but giving it a shot (not impressed with the Fire TV app so far).

Really fun Notre Dame-TCU game tonight on a holiday weekend.

And of course it's only on freaking Flo Sports.

HVL WNBA stock going up?

She was projected as a 2nd round pick last season. Not sure she can crack into the 1st round even if she has a killer season due to the other players ahead of her. Also physical limitations is a knock on her still imo

Syla Swords smoked VT.
Between now and New Year's Day, MIchigan plays Oklahoma, USC, and UCLA. We're about to find out just how good these 3 freshmen are.

Swords vs. Juju is going to be must see TV.

ND dropping another one, but good for Utah getting a big win not long after the Sparks stole their coach.

Some bangers Thursday in the ACC-SEC challenge (all on ESPN1/2)

Kentucky at UNC (5:00)
Texas at ND (7:00)
Ole Miss at NC State (7:00)
Duke at South Carolina (9:00)
Stanford at LSU
Alabama at Cal

Outside of my Heels, it'll be fun to see Texas play a great team, to see how ND bounces back after the losses, and how Duke stacks up with South Carolina. I'm enjoying watching this Duke team more than I'd like to admit.

Thank goodness for some matchups that aren't obvious cakewalks and aren't on some random niche streaming service.
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Preach!

I hope all this Flo Sports nonsense is limited to early season holiday tournaments.

Oklahoma-Louisville was a good game last night. Oklahoma came from 17 down to win at Louisville, led by Louisville transfer Payton Verhulst, who had 21 points (4-8 three pointers), 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and made every free throw down the stretch to secure the win.

I think Ustby and Toomey are going to be good WNBA players.

Toomey, as a freshman, with a step back fade away over 6'7" Silva to go along with her three-point range.

Gakdeng too. Heels have one of the best frontcourts in the country, but nobody knows it yet.

Tennessee at Iowa tonight should be a banger.

2 programs in transition that reloaded a lot faster than people thought they might (could say the same for Stanford).

Tennessee is leading the country in scoring, offensive rebounding, and steals.

Tennessee-Iowa delivered.

This game was a wonderful clash of styles. UT's relentless chaos vs. Iowa's execution.
Could have gone either way, but Cooper took over in the 4th.

Time to pay attention the Vols.
There's a reason they lead the country in steals. It's Arkansas 40 minutes of hell. Swarming full court defense, aggressive trapping and weak side help. They play 10 players at least 15 minutes a game, so they are always fresh. They rotate out like hockey lineups.

Iowa handled it as well as all but about 15-20 teams in the country probably would. For a lot of the game, they were exposing UT's aggressiveness, finding the open player for good looks.

And they still turned it over 30 times.

man, for as bad as iowa played (30 turnovers!?!?) they were in that game right until the last half of the fourth quarter when tennessee put the nail in the coffin

still have a lot of youth and inexperience, need to figure out how to take care of the ball and make a few more threes

Tennesee is one of the few teams able to press that hard because of their deep roster, it cant work against literally everyone, any year of CC (Or An elite playmaker with some level of scoring) would tear up the defense if she was on the team, and cause them to switch to a more conservative approach but man is tennessee relentless
I came here to do two things: get lost and slice **** up & I'm all out of directions.

Yeah, I was thinking about how fun it would have been to see Clark playing against them. There are wide open looks all over the court if you can beat the pressure. Especially when they crash so hard on the weak side help.

Olsen/Iowa did an admirable job at times, and they went on some stretches where they exposed it. But obviously not nearly as well as Clark would have done.

Really curious to see how many teams can deal with it this year. I don't think there are many.

Tennessee against Notre Dame would be a lot of fun.
ND has 2 great ball handlers to deal with the press, and it would also be interesting to see the contrast of ND rolling almost no bench against UT running 10 deep.
