Sorry, brain fart. The Fever were actually 2-1 against the Ace this season. I was thinking of the Valkyries for some reason.

Not expecting it to happen, but it would be wild if this particular Fever team won the championship, cobbled together and held together with duct tape as it is.

Even though they beat the Aces twice in the regular season, after losing to them a zillion games in a row the last several years. I really wasn't expecting to win game 1.

Good Job Ladies.

This series so far reminds of the Pacers/Thunder series. Indiana comes back at the end to win game one, then get blown out in game two.
That doesn't speak well of the Fever's chances in the series, but I won't write them off yet.

Great season given everything that has happened. This team has tons of heart. They should be a force next year with Clark and the gang back together.

Only Clark, Boston, and Timpson are under contract for next year. Hull is a restricted free agent and Bibby is a reserved free agent. Everyone else is out of contract. All signs point to Mitchell wanting to stay and Indiana being willing to pay to keep her, but between a new CBA, the accompanying free agent frenzy, and an expansion draft with two teams, there's a lot of uncertainty about what the roster will look like next year.
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Losing Mitchell would be a disaster. She is already the perfect 1B to Clark.

I said earlier that this series reminded me of the Pacers/Thunder series. And last night fit that mold too, with Mitchell going down and the team having to finish the game without her. Nice parallel with Halliburton there. The team put up a heckuva fight with her out, and Boston on the bench or fouled out.

Should have seen Boston fouling out after A'ja Wilson complained about her getting too many whistles. Any way, special team, special season. Disappointing in a lot of ways, but impressive in a lot of others.

i know alot of people were expecting more but I feel with the sitch things could have ended worse. Just need CC to be healthy next year and we could totally do something.

To get to one overtime away from the finals with all the bad luck the team has had this year was really incredible. Between DeWanna Bonner quitting on the team to all the injuries, this team overcame a lot of adversity.
