My wife has put up with a lot of watching this league with me.

She's finally in. It's because of Kiki.

Mystics are deep, but when they put Soni and Kiki on the bench the Liberty just curb stomped them

They are. The Mystics could cost Jeff Pagliocia his job.

Fans already mad about Spoon. If they watch the Mystics make the Playoffs with Sydney Johnson and Sonia Citron, fans will lose their minds.

And then that 2027 pick swap he threw into that trade could be disastrous (Pagliocia should be long gone by then though).

I cannot wait to see what a healthy Mercury team looks like.

The battle for the #3 seed is going to be wild. 5 teams with a legitimate path.

But the Mercury's plan of 3 stars and let's figure it out seems to be working.

This year has mostly been Satou and a bunch of UDFA's, and they looked great. They seem to have picked all the right UDFA's, and are suddenly deep as hell.

You take this and drop in AT and Kah? This could be something special.
I don't know about Liberty or Lynx "special". That's an insanely high bar.

But if they ever get healthy, they're going to be a major problem.

Him and Chris Koclanes might both end up gone tbh.

Big win for the Sun, and put a big dent in any pipe Dreams Atlanta might have had for a Commissioner's Cup (sorry, had to).

Sun are a lot like the Valkyries. They don't have the overall talent to win a bunch of games, but they have good players and are a lot of fun to watch.

Saniya Rivers is going to be so good. The tide turned towards the end of the 1st half when Saniya picked Jordin Canada's pocket and whipped a beautiful 40 foot pass to a streaking Mabrey.

She also spent a lot of time guarding the red-hot Allisha Grey, who was held to 11 points.

We'll see how the shot develops, but Rivers is already looking like a fantastic defender and fast break machine.

Of course, Mabrey is so fun to watch when she's rolling.

Off topic, but the whole WNBA fashion/sex appeal stuff leaves me cold. It's not why I want to watch sports. I have just turned on the French Open's Woman's Final and am being "treated" to Venus Williams & Sarah Jessica Parker sharing their thoughts on fashion design. Sigh.

In case, you haven't noticed, this isn't an anti women's sports rant ... I watch all varieties of women's sports, including high school track videos, for God's sake. This is a "let athletes be athletes" rant.

I get it. Fashion is not my thing at all.
