Yeah, I can't remember all the talking heads who basically just reduced her to a player who shot three pointers. There is SO much more to her than that, she is so much more well rounded as a player.

And watching the game Friday, I kept thinking wow is she fast. She was always pushing it, as soon as she got the ball.

so regarding the expansion draft, does anyone have any idea both WHEN that draft takes place (relating to Free Agency) and also how many players you can protect? I'm wondering who ya'll would protect but I dont know the number
I came here to do two things: get lost and slice **** up & I'm all out of directions.

Hmm, I hadn't thought about that. I also wonder if there are any other rules regarding who can be protected? Like maybe each team had to leave one player unprotected who makes over $200k a year, or a veteran of so many years?

Hell her shooting is the least compelling aspect of her game. It's the passing. That's the stuff that makes you go "holy sh*t this kid really is special".

Any shot Fever have at any of these players? Can't imagine Stewie wanting to leave NYC. Building around Boston & Clark is nice where they don't even need to go after a star since they have those 2. Role players or star level role players is all they need.

Stewie is ours. Don't even try it

Fine, but Sabrina to Golden State 2026! She’s coming home baby!!

NO.

Leave our players alone.

I am pleased to tell you guys that before this WNBA season started I predicted that Clark would not lead the league in scoring but would lead it in assists. That's true, I did say that. It's also true that I remember that prediction because unlike almost all my other forecasts this one turned out to be correct.

Let me just say one last thing about the Mercury game before the Fever play the Storm.
Kelsey Mitchell scored maybe the quietest 28 points I've ever seen.

I understand the argument for letting her go, but that's a loss of a lot of offense.

If she scored 28 points each and every game, the Fever would never let her go! But your point remains. Moving her would almost surely improve the Fever's defense, but at an offensive cost. Mitchell puts points on the board, and unlike all the rest of the roster save for Clark. she doesn't need help to do so.

I don't really like to post during games, and it's not even halftime yet. But I have two observations:
1) Wow, Seattle plays some tenacious D.
2) Caitlin appears to have gone cold on her three point shooting again.

Seattle big is locking up the paint sheesh.

This game a lot more off ball movement from Caitlin right off the bat. She's setting screens, coming off of picks from the post and popping.

Tyrese Haliburton & Obi Toppin at the game -- wonder if Tyrese spends a lot of off-season time in Indy? He's been to 2 straight Fever games this week which is cool.

I've seen her sister at games before and i just thought they looked really similar, but not similar enough to be twins
Storm left her open a lot in the corner and Lexie was able to make them pay. Love to see it

Great win against a good team.

Crazy what Hull did. Everybody talking about Clark and Hull, but I just want to point out Mitchell led both teams with 27, and I've hardly heard her name mentioned.

Hull punished the Storm. After awhile you would have figured that they might want to cover her?

Hah yeah, she was the Fevers leading scorer in this game and she didn't even get invited to the post-game interview with Holly. Though it was nice to see Lexie get some flowers. Also lost in all this was that Aliyah Boston almost had a triple double, she had some really great passes.
