Can Valkyries weather the storm up 9 with 7 minutes to go?

Make it 7.
They've kept Gabby at bay on both ends, but she came through there.

Valykries can have some awful turnovers and offensive possesions. It's crazy. Seen too many telegraphed passes from Burton and others.

I don't know if Temi got it off in time, but it would be fitting for the game to swing on an offensive rebound.
The Valks team rebounding is just so impressive.

Crap. Obvious call, but you hate to see a great game come down to a moving screen.

Crazy how the expansion team is way better than both Dallas and Chicago.

I would be remiss if I didn't give flowers to Stewie. I have not yet done so and every WNBA fan must. She is just so good at everything. (Well, except for 3 point shooting this season.)
In the men's game, fans have been struggling to figure out the proper comparison/model for Cooper Flagg. It's Stewie. That's who Cooper will become if his career breaks right. An elite scorer and rebounder, heady passer, moves great off the ball, nonstop energy, can guard every position on the floor ... and who always wins. (Flagg's Maine team won the state title when he was a frosh, then after he switched from a normal school to one of those private sports schools his team was undefeated his senior year, and then his Duke team was ranked #1 and advanced to the Final Four.)

I don't expect Stewie to shoot 15% for the whole season but yeah. She's incredible and defensively she is elite.

That was the first Sky game I've watched all year where they looked like an actual WNBA team.

Really curious to see how Toronto and Portland do, but GSV has set an insane bar for an expansion team in every facet of the organization, team, and fan base.
Not that an expansion team should have any advantage on the court over an existing team, but there is something to be said for a blank slate. Especially a blank slate in capable hands. An entire roster of players with zero expectations around playing time or pecking order. All just hungry and glad to have an opportunity.
I could see a lot of expansion teams feeling the need to find an established or college player with a buzz to build around. GSV says, nah, Natalie you do you. Go on and bring in a bunch of players that a lot have never heard.
Oh, and we're going to bring in 18,000 a night from day one.

Haven't caught the game yet, but good for Chicago.
A road win is a road win. And it looks HVL got some minutes and some buckets. That would be huge if she can grow up quick.

Kiki's first 2 touches. A spin fade away in the post in Griner's face. Next touch she scored on Bri Jones in the post.
Although, gets her first 2 touches of the 2nd half swatted by Griner.
The Nakase-Smesko COY race is heating up.
Dream one off the Liberty's all time mark with 18 made 3's. Allisha, Rhyne, and Paopao were on fire.

Angel had a triple double with 3 stls and a block. I need to see her filling the stat sheet like that every game, she has passing skill and needs to use it more.
Also, she got into it with the Sun after someone yanked her braid during a rebound scrum
Everyone hugged it out at the end of the game. This is why the W is so great.

If the Aces pull off this miracle, it will be because of Kierstan Bell.
Just wanted to put that out into the world because I may never get a chance to again.
