Vandersloot and SI struggling so badly on O really hurts. Hard to make up for 7 of 11 shots from 3 for a combined 7 points.

Better to redistribute those shots inside.

Aces with a well deserved win with... SIX players, scoring 99 points with one starter with 0 points and 8 bench points.

SI and 'sloot MUST get going, NY must figure out a way to get them going.

NY also has more variety in scoring than they showed in settling for so many 3s. After missing so many in the 2nd half, they just... kept taking them. Oof.

Late closeouts stood out as well.

Have to find the energy.

Good energy in the building.

I think the super short rotation was the first punch push effort to ensure the first game W for Aces. It was close until it wasn't. Aces did well on D but NY shot themselves (edit) out of the game as well.

Absolutely, good first move by Hammon.

Sabrina and Sloot cannot play how they played today. They settled (hell everyone did) and didn't get aggressive when the 3 pointers weren't falling. Sloot wasn't even looking for her shot after awhile.

Also, the physicality needs to ramp up. We looked soft defensively all game long. That's not how we got here.

That’s why ppl b sayin sport games are rigged, New York just can’t catch a break thought they would come in and dominate but that was hopefully just the game I knew they would give away
