While I think they're definitely up for it, the Liberty likely have a tough road through these playoffs. The Mystics are mostly the 7th seed due to injury, and they're a lot healthier now (Kristi Tolliver is still out and Shakira Austin in "questionable"). They'll then likely have to play the Sun, if they get past the Lynx.

Aces have been floudering a bit but the Sky and Wings or Dream feel like easier opponents.

The Mystics were the last team I wanted the Liberty to have to face in Round 1, but iron sharpens iron :noway:

Can't wait for Wednesday.

Dallas vs Atlanta should be fun to watch. I expect CT, LV to advance in two games. Liberty vs Mystics will be high level competition.

Yes. Ultimately I don't think the Mystics have enough offensively to threaten the Liberty. Those best of 3 series are cause for distress. Mystics get hot 1 game and play good defense and all of a sudden it's a coin flip.

My prediction will most likely be completely wrong but on the very small chance they're right I've got it down on (digital) paper.

First Round
LVA 2-0 CHI
NYL 2-1 WAS
ATL 2-1 DAL
CON 2-1 MIN

Second Round
LVA 3-0 ATL
NYL 3-2 CON

Final
LVA 3-2 NYL

Yeah, Vegas has a cakewalk to the finals while the Liberty have to run the gauntlet. Sheesh

Aces rolling in this first half, mostly on the back of an impressive defensive performance.

I feel like as long as Chelsea Grey remains a playoff cheat code the Aces will be impossible to beat...but it's hard to imagine her being able to duplicate here 2022 run.

Can't picture her shooting the ball like that again this year, but the playmaking was fire as always game 1. She even threw a few genius passes that her teammates missed. Might have had 10 assists without a couple of bad dropped/missed passes. She also looked physically dominant against Chicago's guards.

A burial. That last shot was personal. The Mystics shouldn't have talked sh*t after that last game.

One down.

I didn't particularly enjoy it since I'm a Sun fan but nice win for the Lynx today.

I didn't expect to see the Lynx get one in this series. The Sun felt like a major matchup problem since Alyssa Thomas just blows up a lot of the Lynx's screening action for Naphisa Collier. Cool win.
