As we're nearing the end of an amazing, record breaking regular season and headed towards an exciting playoff tournament that will have superstar power nearly on every squad, i just wanted to take time out to thank everyone, from our fantastic mod team (Doc, G R E Y, and cupcakesnake we love you), to our old and new regulars for making the WNBA board fun, exciting and full of varying opinions this season.

Last season it was just myself, the mods and like 2 other posters talking, i think we all knew it was going to take time for the W board to gain traction.

However, this year with the rise of Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and the rest of this year's Rockstar Rookies, this forum saw an influx of new faces and all of you made this so much more fun! Not a lot of people I know in real life watches WNBA ball regularly like we do, so to see people really being engaged and having good nuanced discussions and even some contentious debates has been great.

Thank you all, and let's keep on having fun watching and talking about these amazing women/people that make this wonderful, unique league something special. We're all watching sports history happen in real time and I'm happy to watch it with you all. This is the tip of the iceberg yall. Paige is coming. Juju is coming. Keep your eyes on high school and WNCAA because those two aren't the only ones on the way.

This board has been great to talk about the league. As a new fan it's cool to hear good opinions from long time fans and also new fans. There is a lot of terrible takes online and twitter, threads, reddit don't match up to RealGM when it comes to pure hoop talk for me.
Looking forward to being a life time WNBA fan and Valkyrie fan next season!

Hey I used to be a casual that was watching from the early days when Coach Spoon played for the Liberty, but once NY drafted Sabrina I started becoming a more fervent watcher so I'm no different from anyone else who is hopping on.
