What. A. Season!

No matter which team you supported, I think everyone can agree this was an amazing season. Here are a couple of highlights:
- Game attendance the highest in more than two decades.
- 54 million viewers, an all-time record.
- Attendance up 50% from last season.
- 154 sellout games, up from 45 last eason.
- Social media drew nearly two billion views, quadrupling last season.
- Most viewed regular season ever, up 170% from last season.
- A'ja Wilson's insane season, where she broke 1000 points (1021, averaging 26.9ppg, 11.9rpg, 2.6bpg, 1.8spg). And she's only 27 years old!
- After a slow start (with so, so many haters), Caitlin Clark balled out. Most assists in a season, ever. Not just by a rookie, EVER. Yes, there were more games played this season, but seriously, ever!
- Feel a bit sad for Alyssa Thomas, who would have broken the record (her own from 2023) if not for Clark.
- Speaking of ever, A'ja Wilson broke the season record for most rebounds with 451. Even more suprisingly, rookie Angel Reese was second all time with 446.
- The rookie class is looking Special with a capital S. Clark (19/6/8), Reese (14/13), Rickea Jackson (13/4), Kamilla Cardoso, Aaliyah Edwards and Julie Vanloo stuck in Washington, Leonie Fiebich being a major reason NYL won the title, the list goes on. Let alone Cameron Brink coming back next season after injury. Wow.
- Napheesa Collier is HER. After an excellent season last year, this year was spectacular. Not only DPoY, but second in MVP voting shows she can do it on both ends. 20/10/3/2 is an insane statline but it got better in the playoffs. 24/9/4/2/2 playing 38.3 minutes per game! Ironwoman should be her middle name.
- Thank God the Liberty won, I've been following this team since T-Spoon and it has been more relief than excitement.
And even with all that, we have the future to look forward to.
- Golden State Valkyries, which is an amazing name BTW, joins next season.
- People will remember why Paige Bueckers was hyped so much this college season. If healthy, don't be surprised to see her have close to a Clark-esque season (viewership, not stats).
- Don't sleep on Azzi Fudd either, who was ranked #1 HS player for a reason.
There is so much more I could go on about (DT last season perhaps?) but I thought I'd ask what you guys liked/enjoyed about this season. How did your team go? What are you looking forward to for next year?
