Is Childress to Greece talk Legitimate?

Post#1 » by gsuteke » Mon Jul 21, 2008 7:42 pm

I've read that this Greek team has done this ni the past as basically a PR stunt.

How likely is it that this team is going to sign Childress VS Childress' agent using this as leverage to get something out of the Hawks?

A PR stunt? LOL

No Olympiacos is legitimately interested in Josh Childress. There apparently has been an agreement with Ricky Davis but there were reports that the team was looking for something better and that player appears to be Childress. He's in Athens right now and whether he takes the offer remains to be seen.

If Josh Childress signs overseas expect the NBA's CBA to be reopened to protect the interest of NBA teams.

In other words, salaries will get even more ridiculous than they already are.

Erceg will be great someday, but I think Bourousis or Schortsianitis will start (or maybe I misunderstood and you just wanted to point out the new players, sorry.)
