Damn, China is really making the NBA and the Euroleague a hell of a lot of money these days.

Euroleague CEO visits Nike in China
Euroleague Basketball CEO Jordi Bertomeu has completed a series of meetings in Beijing, China that served to strengthen the competition's ongoing relationships both with global partner Nike and with Chinese basketball. Euroleague Basketball has already sponsored one event in China, the CBA-Euroleague Challenge in 2007, and since then has begun game broadcasts on three TV channels seen by audiences of up to 200 million. This time, Mr. Bertomeu met in the Chinese capital with Nike's Asia-Pacific sports marketing director, Goro Nakajima, as well as with Bruce Li and Tony Li, associate marketing director and marketing director, respectively. Their conversations provided a basis for further expanding the Euroleague's exposure in the world's most populous country while reinforcing the commitment on both sides to a long-lasting partnership.

I guess 200 million would be the potential audience, not the people that actually watch the games.

Well the way it is worded is that it was watched by that many.

The key word phrase is "up to." Basketball is developing so fast in China.

Well then the NBA lies about how many people watch it. Because they always use the same phrase when reporting TV audience for NBA games.

That's not true.
nearly no one in China watch Euroleague Games regularly.
People watching NBA : People watching CBA 10:1 or more
People watching CBA: People watching Euroleague 100:1 or more.......

Well I live in China, and I don´t think the new is correct. Here almost all the time you can watch NBA on CCTV5 (a public channel) and 95% of the people I´ve met couldnt tell me any player out of Yao Ming.
