Boki Nachbar officialy a free agent

Post#1 » by jolbin » Mon May 18, 2009 2:08 pm

So, it has happened
Boki Nachbar confirms it at his web pagehttp://www.bokinachbar.com/?lang=EN
He also lists NBA as the most likely direction of his career..
So, where will he go?
Knicks for one season is my guess

He wants to go to a contender.

That rules out New York and Toronto.

I don't know if the Knicks need Nachbar. They have plenty of forwards already. I say some playoff team that needs to strengthen the bench with a wing that can shoot. Atlanta, Boston, Miami, Philly, Phoenix, etc.

Well an other option is Olympiacos. He can come much cheaper that Childress and i am sure that he will be much more effective

I can see him going to Miami. They need a SF.

He is about useless to any NBA team and probably thinks he can get similar money to Brian Scalabrine and Matt Bonner. I hope he stays overseas.

Huh, what? He's a good role player, certainly better than Scalabrine or Bonner.

HMFFL, how is Bonner useless? How is Nachbar useless? Scal isn't good at all, but to call those other two players "useless" is crazy. They aren't star players, but they're good role players.

I never called Brian Scalabrine and Matt Bonner useless. Role players are obviously valuable, but Nachbar probably think he's worth 3-5 million, and it won't be wise for any NBA team to pursue him if he's seeking that type of money. Does he plan on rebounding, or does he only plan on scoring? Bonner and Scalabrine are willing to do what it takes for the team to win and I don't feel it's the same with Nachbar.

Nachbar is better than Scalabrine or Bonner, please, we will be serious. There are rumors about the interest for him of the Real Madrid...
Sorry for my English ;)

Destination San An? Portland?

Boki was a fan favorite in New Jersey, the main beef with him was his atrocious defense though.
