5 NBA Teams Interested In Ioannis Bourousis

Apparently, it seems that 5 NBA teams have interest in Ioannis Bourousis. The Memphis Grizzlies, the Golden State Warriors, the Orlando Magic, the Miami Heat, and the San Antonio Spurs.

Is this just leverage to get a better contract or is he really interested in joining an NBA team?

Spurs offered him a 3 year deal for $12 million.

I assume he would start for them which should entice him to come over.

In my opinion he's overratted. He's a good defender, is hard, and he had good shot, but isn't an european star.
Anyway I heard that he renew with the Oly.

Apparently, it seems that an IQ of 197 doesn't allow some to differentiate between the numbers 4 and 5. :wink:

Greek sites claim he has already re-signed, but I think that as of now he's just very close to re-sign.

He has re-signed with OLY. No clue how many years though (should be more than 2). He's getting 1.6 million Euro per year (with bonuses it's about 2).

He made a big mistake if you ask me. He should have definitely taken that Spurs offer. This was a dumb move by him.

Agreed, but the guy bleeds red. He's still got a few more years before he peaks, but he really wants that EuroLeague title before jumping.

I know, but I think we have to be realistic. It's doubtful that the reds are going to get it done.
