Anway some things about Dario
First he still didn't sing anything, he has a offer about 3 million euros for 8 years and this contract also includes buyout to Drazen Petrovic basketball academy. His father Predrag (ex Drazen Petrovic teammate) and mother Veselinka who also played basketball profesionaly will go on trip to Vitoria to se conditions they are ofering. It si also important to knaw that Predrag Saric and Tau coach Dusko Ivanovic are personal friends from playing days. Also CSK, Cibona, Split, Real and Zadar are itrested. By Predrag only Croatian clubs where Dario could go is Cibona and Zagreb but non of them can't pay him 3 million euros. This has bean known for two years in Croatia and Tau and Real consitentley oferd Dario's parents money and job's in Spain. And he is not onley one. Over last few years som Spin clubs set their scouts all over Dinaric alps looking for tall kids talented for basketball (Dinaric alps is region where by man's averahe hight lives tallest people in world and extends over big part of ex Yugoslavian countries). so far in Spain plays few kids that were take from this region similary like Dario. Nikola Mirotic (PF 6'11 91.), Bojan Bogdanovic (SF 6'8 89.), Nihad Djedovic (SG 6'6 90.), Ante Bubalo (PF 6'9 91.), Dusan Bogdanovic (PF 6'9 93.) are just some of the names. There are now few other kid's who have "under the table" ofers from Spain clubs. Over all for me it is stupid to give this kind of money for kid because in this years you can't tell how good somebody will be, you can only see the ones who will fail
His game...202 (about 6'7 1/2) born 94. so likley he will grove some more. great ball handler, speed and vision for his size and age. can shoot of the drible or with his feet set. Shows maturity for his age, good leadership and toghnes. So far he plays all 5 positions on court, will he be able transfere that to senior level only time will tell. Can play nervos and easy to provokate on court. So far he was dominated in evry tournamet that he played and that was usaly over older cometition, and quite strong. One thig that I like is that he consistantly watching tapes of Mgic and that is very strange for kid who was born latter than his role model stoped playing. He defintley can learn more from (fundamentaly and tacticly) this games, than nowdays
Anway some media comparisons. Media compares him with Kukoc, Drazen etc but nobady say's he will be better or what ever. But one who told that he will be better then Drazen was president of DP basketball acaemy who took Drazen's mother Biserka two yers ago and show her Dario and said that he will be better than Drazen. That is written in media so I guess you miss understund what it says. Aco Petrovic (Drazen's brother and also gret player) and Biserka were the one who started project of DP basketball academy. But American juornalist are the same. I still remeber that new American "Pele"
