Re: 2009 Spanish National Team
Llull can play SG which is what Rodriguez plays, so it makes sense. In the end, I think this is good for Spain since they're giving their young players some experience at the highest level.

Re: 2009 Spanish National Team
You can change Garbajosa's club affiliation now - Real Madrid for the next two seasons.
BTW - Spain's Under-16 team won the gold last night at the European Championships, defeating Lithuania on Lithuanian soil, 70-64. For Spain's men and women, this is the SEVENTH medal won this summer in European and World play. Seems like it's not just the Pau show...

Haha, it's nice to see a powerhouse like Spain actually play in an opponents environment for once.
If only the USA did the same........

I believe this was said to be the first game in the last 10 years that Spain did not play in Spain. As for USA they are scheduled to play 2 games in Athens against Greece at OAKA next year.

In 2006 (yeah, before we beat Greece in the World Championship) Spain played a tournament in Singapur, against, as I can remeber, Argentina, Slovenia, and other NTs. And won it.
