You can't predict that because we have a new coach. 4 starters from Giannakis era. I have no idea how Kazlauskas would pick the lineup with the old team or even you cannot predict the roster he would choose. So 4 starters and the old coach from the previous teams.

As far as the pertinent and relevant current lineup, the starters in one article were listed as,

PG Vasilios Spanoulis
SG Nikos Zisis
SF Stratos Perperoglou
PF Antonios Fotsis
C Yannis Bourousis

But another article said that the starters will be,

PG Vasilios Spanoulis
SG Nikos Zisis
SF Antonios Fotsis
PF Yannis Bourousis
C Sofoklis Schortsanitis

So I suppose Kazlauskas might have 2 alternative starting lineups. Either way the most important players to me are going to be Spanoulis and Zisis.

So, in the Giannakis era, who'd start along those 4 guys?

Who are the 4 starters missing?

Tsartsaris, Vasilopoulos, Papaloukas, Diamantidis. For me the biggest absence is by far Vasilopoulos. He's very versatile, he can play the 3 or 4 on offense, he can guard all 5 positions on defense, he's a very good 3 point shooter that can spread the floor from the 4 spot, he's very clutch and always makes big plays and shots when needed, and he's the best defensive player in Europe.

Tsartsaris is a loss but maybe Koufos can replace him (he's probably not ready though). Diamantidis and Papaloukas are losses mostly for their ball handling and their experience in running an offense. Also Diamantidis' defense. But for me the glaring loss is Vasilopoulos.
:o

This is so mind- boggling, that it caused me insomnia.Thank you very much.
