Dort might be the least fundamentally sound NBA perimeter player I can remember seeing in recent years. His role is just very NBA specific where you simply need those kind of big bodies on the perimeter to give volume scorers a tougher time. And his shooting is solid enough to stay on the floor. Add to that a feel for cutting on a spaced out NBA floor and it's obvious why he's there. But man is he terrible when asked to do anything besides that.

Ok I have seen better Serbian and Yugoslav teams in the past, but not on defence. And it's not just one or two guys, it's that every person coming off the bench seems to have exactly the same foot speed, intensity and reads.

Yeah, that’s really standing out. They’ve even been picking up full court with good results.

Ultimately inexperience cost Canada this game. That foul trouble destroyed them. Not because of the refs, but simply due to lack of awareness among the players. Sometimes you have to give up 2 to 6 points or just be disciplined instead of going for a steal. In the long it increases your team's chances of winning.
