Yep, the world has catched up since '92. Skill difference is still there and US is the premier basketball nation, but in one game scenario they still have weaknesses that can be exploited by good opponent (like Germany/LTU/). The skill difference is not that big anymore, coaching and prep-work can go miles. Take a look at Latvians who since Banchi took over have only had 3 losses in 20 official games, i think.
What I am surprised is that there is really no on-ball pressure from guards, that has always been US strength. Let's see how this ends though.
