Greece is going to be extremely young again, but they have a decent chance to medal depending on how the brackets turn out.

About time they got some youth on that roster. They were painful to watch last year. They're still weak on that PG spot, though.

Is Ante Tomic any good? He was supposed to be a top 5 draft pick at one point.

He had a breakout season for Real Madrid. Time will tell if that translates to success in the NBA (IF he decides to go).

He needs to stop skipping meals if he ever wants to play in the NBA.

in terms of skills he has evrything what center needs to have, only gasol is bit more skilled center then him, but he has very week body, on wich he can't add much more weight. gasol would look like shaq standing next to him

some of his highlights

vs. Splitter

Uhm, Splitter is most definitely more skilled than him. I'd also say Lorbek, he's definitely more fluid in the post than Ante.

Tomic has the potential to be the best, current center from Europe. But right now, he's still a little bit raw.

splitter is better yes, but not in terms center skills. tomic has all moves besides left turnaround jupper and left roling. left and right hook, left and right pivot, can pop out or roll after pick, right turnaround jummper, right roling, midrange juper, penetration left and right from high post after small drible, can pass face to basket or back to basket and fake in post. unfortunaly his body is limited, so he may never translate his game in nba but he will be best ofensive center in euroleague

lorbek is defenetley more fluid, but also is 3-4 inches shorter and for me he is pure pf who at the time is used at center, so i never classified him as center.

Thanks guys. He doesn't like to rebound much does he? I guess that's a side effect of his frame. I remember reading he was a point guard until he had a massive growth spurt. His hookshot is almost identical to Bogut's.

George Mikan invented hook shoot-origins Croatian, Bogut has great hook shoot-origins Croatian, Tomic has great hook shoot-Croatian :D Croatian conection with hook shoot 8-)

yeah, curentley he has some problems with rebounds, mostley because him beaing skiny, but also lacks bit of agression

I would tend to disagree with that statement from what little I have seen of them head-to-head.
