Why isn't this man in the NBA?
One of the best if not the best point guards in the world.
The NBA points are relying too much on athleticism but this man Teodosic is straight fundamentals and skill. He has ice in his veins as well. The real Mr. Big Shot not Chauncey Billups.
Would love him in the triangle on the Lakers. Kobe, Pau ,Teodosic...3 peat!!!

Because he is not strong and athletic enough. A loss for the NBA and a win for European competitions.

His game is not suited for the nba and consequently would not translate well.
Although, at some point he resembles on a much more skilled Steve Blake.

Defense. Quicker PGs in the NBA would eat his lunch heck Avg speed PGs in the NBA would eat his lunch.

Watching him play last game, He reminds me of steve nash, with his lack of athletic ability and knack and desire to find the open man and can make the J from outside. I think to say hes the best pg in the world is quite off base. However i think this guy could be in the NBA, I could see him averaging like 10 pts 8 ast... Something like that. I like his calm demeanor, especially when one of those "hard core wanna be gangster turks" tried snuffing him. Instead of acting all macho and retaliating, he was the bigger man and walked away.

I really like this kid. He's really overlooked. I think he can be a Ricky Rubio-lite

f*** ricky rubio.. teodosic is actually a real basketball player, not a media hyped prospect like that spaniard. you say he is not athletic, or quick enought.. based on what?? 2 or 3 games seen?? he isn`t the fastest player ever, but he wouldn`t be the slowest nba pg either. actually he is quite good defender against smaller and quicker guards. his problem would be more lack of strenght against bigger guards ( SG ) trying to post up him. he is not the best poing guard in the world, but he is a special player, that many nba teams could use quite well. but they would have to put some money on the table, becouse he isn`t playing for cheap in europe.. I highly doubt anyone brings him to nba for less than 6-7 millions..

I think he's the best point guard in Europe right now. He's a more polished player than Ricky Rubio. He's quite better at shooting than Ricky and has two inches on him (Ricky is 6-3 and Milos is 6-5). His playmaking and shooting will translate if he goes to the NBA and his defense will be average, so he won't be a liability in the defensive end.
In Europe he could get up to 4 million € a year, so if someone wants to lure him to he NBA they'll have to pay him 4-5 millions a year.

I didn`t say now..
@ superanto .. 4 million € per year in europe is much much more than 4-5 million usd in nba . you have to account tax policy is different in sports. .. 4 million € would easily mean something close to 10 million $ per year in nba.

I understand that but it's not realistic to expect him to get a 10 million $ right away. It's similar to Calderon's situation when he came over (I think he's better than Calderon at the same age). He could've earned about 3 million €/year in Europe but ended up signing a 2'5 million $/year contract. He has to prove himself in the NBA in order to get a bigger contract. I think the most likely scenario is 12-15 million $ for 3 years and if he proves himself he could get a contract similar to Calderon's.
If Milos really wants to play in the NBA he could sign for less than he would in Europe so he can earn more in the long term. He doesn't seem too interested in the NBA for now so maybe he'll take the Navarro route and come over later in his career.

Milos is a not an NBA player, like Bodiroga, Jaskievicius or Djordjevic. Plus it is a very temperamental player and always sends orders his peers and that in the NBA do not think he fits.

I had never heard of him before the WC, but he's been my favorite non-NBA player in the tournament. I've seen 3-4 serbia games, and he's pretty much been the best player on the court at all times. At 6-5 he should have plenty of strength to play the PG position in the NBA. With that kind of size, he could even be moved to the 2 on defense if he's matched up on ty lawson or someone really quick like that. At the 2, I think he could be a really useful defender. He kind of has a little Derek Fisher/Bruce Bowen in him in that he'll bump you enough to throw you off, but not enough to commit the foul. Against a lot of the soft shooters that play the 2 in the NBA, I think he could find a lot of success.

That shot he hit against Spain was absolutely ridiculous.
I hope he doesn't come over for his own sake. A guy like that (tall, slow, great passer and shooter) is perfect for Europe, but he would get seriously exposed defending guys like Eric Gordon, Derrick Rose, and even Ty Lawson night in and night out. He should just stay in Europe and get star treatment/pay rather than join a team like the Raps over here and have angry fans cursing him every night.

It's really wired that no team drafted him..(Not in the 1st round, but a late pick?)
He is young and i think he can make a good impact in the NBA. He's talented, he is a great playmaker and he can shoot/score..
Defense? He can improved that. Besides that, he won't be the first player in the NBA with luck of D..
Athletism? Well, the NBA champion's PG, Derek Fisher, is not that fast or athletic these days.. Scola is not athletic and he's playing at a much more athletic position..so.. This kid don't rely on athletism, so he can have a longer career at high level..
I think he's definitly NBA ready..He won't be Chris Paul, but he can play.

I read that Morey had interest in him this summer. Wanted to bring him over with the MLE. Don't know what happened, i think Milos rejected it or something.
