not euroleague, but besiktas is playing with iverson vs göttingen right now in the eurocup. u can watch it on the channel's offical stream (no illegal link)
http://www.trt.net.tr/Canli/canli.aspx?kanal=TV2&slv=0edit: göttingen won 85-83 with a last second basket (meh). iverson scored 18 (5/11 shooting). he's playing more of a sg role with besiktas - chatman still the main ballhandler.

Does anyone think Nesterovic could still play in the NBA? So far he is missing some easy layups, but I sort of feel as though he may have some gas left in the tank.
Watching Real Madrid-Olympiacos
Also, I have not watched enough of him, but I think Teodosic would certainly struggle to defend NBA guards.

I'm fairly impressed with Rodriguez and Tomic inside. Ante needs to add some weight, but he does have some excellent fundamentals for a player his size. His post game is very developed and he has an excellent court awareness.

Felipe Reyes is another guy who probably would be able to play in the league. It is obvious why Garbajosa struggled in the NBA. (aside from the injuries) He fights hard, but is a bit too slow on both ends. Bourousis is a borderline case as to whether or not he would be successful.
In this contest, Rodriguez seems to be getting by most of his defenders and is hitting shots. D'or Fisher is an excellent interior defender and is really shutting Olym. down inside. Clay Tucker needs to play more within the offense instead of trying to heat up himself. Mavrokefalides looks really good inside this season in the Euroleague. Spanoulis has made some very nice passes in this one.

Allen Iverson's team Besiktas will play again tonight in the Eurocup vs the French team Asvel Basket at 8:30 PM CET (should be 2:30 PM EST). Besiktas lost its previous two games in the tournament. The following is a LEGAL link of the Turkish broadcasters stream which is kinda crappy, but better than nothing.

I missed the game, but thanks for the link anyway. If you can, I would be up for viewing other contests if you update it.

Fischer is a great shot blocker and a good help defender but his man defense is pretty bad. He doesn't have the strength to handle physical centers and he tends to bite on pump fakes too much. Maccabi fans remember him getting schooled by an over the hill Nikola Prkacin during the two games against Cibona two seasons ago.

I guess I was a bit premature to make that sweeping judgment. However, I can say that he was effective in the contest I saw in both regards.

For the French team: does anyone know if Edwin Jackson ever gets any playing time. (and if he plays well during his minutes)

I like how they get out in transition with Iverson on the floor.

Notes on this one:
-Ozer and Cetin looked good: Cetin was aggressive on D and nailed a huge three pointer.
-Mire Chatman has to be one of the best point guards in Europe. He made some impressive thread the needle passes. His offense was not half bad and he picked his spots.
-Allen Iverson did not play as poorly as some would think. He was not a huge factor on offense, but the team dynamic changed when he was in the game. They ran more and were able to take advantage of the opposing team, who was slow to get back.
-Gelabale looked really strong attacking the basket and finishing. His shot was also fairly effective. I like him as a player and think that he could easily make it back in the NBA.
-Matt Walsh was effective shooting the ball off the dribble and drew a good number of fouls. He is a heady American player.
-Cliff Hammond looked pretty explosive off the dribble. He needs to extend his in-game range to really become a huge threat. (at least from what I saw in this contest) Overall, I was impressed though.
