Vujosevic to land in San Antonio
NBA

The coach was invited by Spurs

Dusko Vujosevic was invited by Peter Holt, owner of San Antonio Spurs, to Texas for one month, to spend 30 days with one of the best franchise of the current NBA season, as reported by B92.net.

Vujosevic, who lead Partizan Belgrade to Euroleague Final Four in Paris-Bercy last May, started the season at the helm of CSKA Moscow but parted ways when the Russian powerhouse did not reach Euroleague Top 16 after several years.

Wouldn't be unwise yea. maybe he goes there with the mindset that Manu is a great guy just waiting to be his internship tutor/buddy over there.[/greenfont]

baffling that people are speculating about the possibility that he might take over after Pop. Way out of the ozon layer of the bubble of the realm of possibility.
Anyhow, last foreign coach to get offered hc job for an nba franchise was Ivkovic in 2003 iirc. He declined the Nuggets offer due to short timeframe handed.
