the record was broken by a country mile as the player jacked up an astonishing 124 attempts from beyond the three-point line, making 24 of the shots. Even such a circus couldn’t stop Rolandas Dovydaitis and his team from winning as they still triumphed 103-70 in the end.
“Last game our opponents let us shoot wide-open three-pointers. We gave it a little thought and wondered why a single player couldn’t do all of that alone. If our opponents allow me to shoot more than 70 three-pointers, I should be in the record books after the end of the game,” Dovydaitis said just before the tip-off of the game.
Wow, this will totally add to the Euro basketball stereotype
I am just wondering if this would be possible in the NBA, would teammates turn on this guy? Would opponents let him just jack up stupid shots?

If the opponent is giving you wide open three pointers there is no excuse of only making 24 shots on a 124 attempts. That's 19.35% from beyond the arc.

HAHA Rolandas Dovydaitis is LITHUANIAN. And they WON THE GAME. Dude scored 73 points... More than Jordan.
So a dude playing basketball over in Lithuania named Rolandas Dovydaitis decided he’s make a personal goal of taking the most 3′s ever attempted in a game. I’m pretty sure he didn’t although I have no idea what the record previously was. He ended up jacking up 124 three pointers. Yep…124… and dude only made 24..and scored 73 points. That’s 19%…how did he even get into the league is my question. And I have no idea which one he is in the picture up top, hell…he might not even be in there at all. I was about to say. Thats a horrible precentage imo lol. Only 24? While missing 100? My team woulda slaped the **** ouitta me.

The NBA record for three-point attempts in a game is 21, by Damon Stoudamire in 2005. Mighty Mouse hit just five of those in a rather blatant tank game at the end of the season for the Blazers.
