In Greece the sports clubs rivalries is basically akin to fighting a war. It's always been that some people take it too far. But I think the police cracked down on it. I have not been there for a long time but years ago it was insane.
A game between Aris and PAOK or some Turk club can get really nasty.

I have said so many times... Sports in America are close to being as gay and soft as can be. Outside the US, take care.

There are only two nasty rivalries in Greece that are the amongst the craziest in the world:
Olympiacos-Panathinaikos
Aris-PAOK
The PAOKtzides are pure crazy, do not f*ck with them by any means.

Totally true, look Borrachos del tablon, they went to Sao Paulo to play a game of his team, River Plate, and fight with Brazilian PM, look at this, in Brazil and Paraguay.
