Can someone give me alittle help here...
A former basketball player from my college went from playing in Ireland to England? How much of a step up is this in competition and what not?
Also, just how do other leagues work? I know Greece, Spain and Italy have strong leagues. But another of our former players is in Poland, where does that rank?
Thanks alot

Well basketball in Ireland is probably a step down from Div 1 college ball, I guess it depends on the team.
Both leagues are pretty weak.
What's the guys name BTW?

We also have a guy in Finland I believe with Isiah Hunter. As well as a guy playing in Australia named Alex Loughton. How do those leagues fit into the others?

yeh i've seen loughton play. big guy with good skills. great jumpshot.
I don't know about finland but australia is a fair step down from the good euro leagues and a fair step up from the bad ones (like england and ireland).
