I have seen a couple of web reports suggesting that Dynamo Moscow is having financial troubles:
http://majorleaguejerk.com/2008/12/1...jannero-pargo/
and
http://dimemag.com/2009/01/jannero-pargo-to-olympiakos/
Does anyone know if there is truth behind these allegations?

Zalgiris Kaunas apparently also has big financial worries...

"Lithuanian champions are facing serious problems - B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas players decided to boycot the game against Nevezis due to unpayed wages. LKL decided to reschedule the game after Zalgiris management asked to postpone the game. It's most likely that the players will stick to their previously made decision not to play. If so, Nevezis will receive a technical victory 20:0. The condition for playing is very simple - the players want to receive at least a part of their money. Rumors that Zalgiris main rival Lietuvos Rytas is negotiating contracts with some of Zalgiris players have recently showed up. It's not likely that Zalgiris will be able to pay the debts, which according to some sources may be up to 20 million LTL (~6 million EUR). No investors are showing great interest and the future for the club doesn't look bright."

they are doing much better now that they managed to shed the salaries of Pargo, Price and McDonald, and should be able to finish off the season OK.
