If Marbury goes overseas which league should he destroy with his immense basketball talents?

In all honesty regardless of how you try to spin it, Stephon could go down as a top 3 player overseas ALL-TIME if he decides to spend the next couple of years playing abroad, dude is too legit 2 quit.

I'm sure he'll destroy some league, but it won't be with his talents, it'll be with the diarrhea that comes out of his mouth.

Every top team has to go after this highly professional genius basketball mind. I think he will dominate European basketball for the next five, six years. If not longer. His lockerroom presence alone will win championships.

More like he'll destroy himself with all the clubbing he'll want to do.

Maybe 5 years ago he would have 20 point games in Euroleague and his team would of course lose by 20 points. In the current time he would probably most likely just be sitting on the bench and his team's wins or losses would not have much to do with him.

i'm kinda jokin about Marbury.He definitely looks washed up,but you never know,maybe he'll find some of his game in Europe.His let's say flamboyant personality though would definitely be an interesting adition to Euroleague and create some buzz.Moreover i need new cheap sneakers,bring on the starburys to europe!

I honestly think he would be arrested after his practice with a european coach! Imagine coach Ivanovic sending him for his first practice on a run up a mountain somewhere on the european countryside!!!

Wow some of you are crazy if you think Marbury is done. Dude was mentally abused by all of New York AND HE STILL CAME OUT ON TOP.

Europe isn't that tough (no offense, I have relatives there anyway), Marbury could definitely HANDLE any Euroleague.

He'd still be the strongest and one of the quickest guards in Europe. Not to mention the most explosive from a scoring standpoint.

European leagues are much tougher than NBA. That's a fact.

You really need look no further than Sarunas Jasikevicius a great player overseas who couldn't cope with the longer season and increased physicality in the NBA to see that the toughness of the leagues abroad is vastly exaggerated...

Increased physicality? Don't make me laugh. Half of the fouls that are called in the NBA would never get called in Europe, especially in the low post. It's blatantly obvious you've never watched a game of European basketball, so just stop.

That is not true. This past year alone I watched the majority (but admittedly not all) of the Lottomatica Roma games. Why else do you think I'd be so sure that Brandon Jennings is HANDS DOWN the BEST point guard prospect of this draft?

If he can focus on playing, and be mentally balanced, he still could start a good team in Europe. But destroy any league? lol. It´s more likely for him to destroy his own team than destroy any strong league.

Haha , have you heard about Ricky Rubio?. You only have to compare the stats of both PG to see who is the better one .

I've heard of Ricky Rubio, he's been a special player abroad. But the deficiencies in his game (lack of physicality, average-below average first-step, penchant for gambling on defense, carelesspasses) are going to limit what he can do at the NBA level.
