that would hold if we got to play San Antonio in half our games

Our pace last night (103.5) would rank 11th.

And even just watching, you can tell we're not going to be a plodding half court offense.

i'm an idiot and read "tied for 7th place" not "7th in pace"

yes the pace is an encouraging sign

this play by bouk with ~10 seconds left in quarter in sure made cliff lose his mind. awful clock awareness, even worse shot.

Definitely Thor, and I also think McGowens and Maledon should be playing ahead of Bouk.

You guys realize Maledon started 49 of 65 games his rookie year right? He's infinitely more poised than Bouk, and imo, would be smart to prioritize his development over Bouk's.

i dont agree in prioritizing bouk's dev over other youngsters. he's clearly not right, whether its mental or related to his wrist injury, whatever. let him get well first. give his minutes to dsj, maledon, bryce or thor, for now.
maybe he crushes it in practice, i dunno.
cliff is not one to make quick lineup changes though.

As I rewatch this game, Gordon made two 3s in the first Q...so how'd he finish 1-2 from 3 in the box score?

I mean, even just for morales/team perception reasons, they probably should have sat him while he sorted out his legal issues. He’s probably not in the right head space to play at the moment anyhow.

Mismanagement will ultimately denigrate a business. It results in poor decisions, bad strategies, and loss of good employees, customers and revenue.

The same holds true for NBA teams, at the front office level, and with coaches. The Hornets have made limited progress due to draft and personnel decisions. But those decisions are compounded by how coaches use the assets provided. I know Clifford has a record of stubborn devotion. However, I think his pushing Bouknight is coming from Mitch. Kupchak knows Kai can’t handle anything league level, so he needs Bouknight to carve out success.

MEMO TO MITCH - IT AINT HAPPENING! You screwed up, blew the draft, also turned down massive trade offers for the pick you used on a failed head case that can’t shoot.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
