Has us 12th in Pace and steadily falling since the start of the season

27th ORtg
21 in PPG
27th in FG%
23rd in 3PA/game
15th in FTA/game

Geeze why can't we manufacture offense without Melo, Rozier, Hayward, Cody, and Miles? Clearly Cliff hasn't changed at all.

Ok so now we'll use that as an excuse

It's almost like they're running so much because they don't have any above average guys on the floor

He should be different this time around, since we have a very different roster. But his core issues are the same.

One of these alleged core issues was an inability to adapt and dogmatic adherence to outdated philosophies. The assumption was he was going to be the same old Cliff and the anti-JB.

If we've discarded that narrative, then great.

We've played most of the season missing at least 4 of our top 6 rotation guys, and that doesn't take into account the gap left by Miles. I get situationally specific criticisms like fat has of last night, but I truly think it's remarkable that anyone would argue that Cliff hasn't exceeded expectations given what he has to work with.

3-7 is not exceeding expectations. Well, maybe you are right. I expected 1-9. Quite a low bar we have here in a Charlotte sports.

In the end, no one cares if you are missing guys or not. The only thing people remember are wins and playoff appearances. Clifford and Kupchak are well on there way to another mediocre, forgettable season.

We had these same damn arguments 5 years ago. 10 years ago. And its always the same excuses. If only we were healthy, if only we played the right way, if only we had one more player. Its laughable that Clifford and the front office thinks we are "so close" to contending if we just do what Clifford wants them to do. I don't even know why I waste my energy anymore

This is our curse.

Being serious though... You think our pace is high because of a lack of talent? And our pace was slower his last tour because, what, we were so talented?

I think the pace is a sign of philosophy, while lack of efficiency is a sign of talent deficiencies.

To be fair... I've never seen a team have their entire gaurd rotation roll their ankles at same time. And now GH gonna nuse that shoulder until Jan. The mystery is Cody. It would be a shame if cliff didn't get a decent run of games with z healthy squad. Still don't think it changes us to top 8 . But just maybe....

When you can't run a half-court offense worth a damn, as evidenced by our efficiency, what's generally considered a good idea to get easy looks?

pace/efficiency and the reasons for them don't have to be mutually exclusive.
