Cliff isn't going to ever get these guys to buy in to his style. Too many flashy players that don't want to defend.

Hire an offensive coach and just say "Screw defense, we'll score 140 instead" like the old Suns teams.

They need to just LaMelo have a ton of usage, put up 25/10/7 this year, and tank.

Mitch tried to quit like 3 years ago. He's only here because MJ is too busy at the golf course and hawking gin or tequila or whatever it was

I'm specifically talking about trading no-defense vets like Oubre and Terry that put up empty calorie stats and little more.

We don't need guys like that to provide a bad influence to the younger players.

Call me crazy, but I think our younger core group are fairly solid.

Melo / Smith / Theo
Cody / Bryce (Bou lost his spot)
Miles (if he comes back) / Jalen
PJ / Kai / Thor
Richards / Mark

We just need to get rid of everyone older than Cody. He can dye his beard gray and be the teams old vet.

Solid 30 win team

Solid 30 win team

Probably more wins than we'll get now.

That entire team with extensions for Melo/Miles/PJ would probably cost 30+ million less than the salary cap and they should have a top 5 pick in this next draft. It looks better if you view it as the first step of a rebuild.

I guess. Just tired of rebuilding after doing it for the last 21 years
