Gordon is in Batum mode. Cashing checks and doing the bare minimum possible to get away with it. It's becoming a common occurrence that he takes 6-8 shots total in a game.

im not sure thats fair. batum completely checked out. gordon is playing hard when he's out there. he came back, probably too early from injury, twice. he's dunking, mixing it up. but, for whatever reason, just not taking many shots, despite being hyper efficient.

gordon. that's literally the point of the discussion. why isn't gordon taking more shots and should (and can) melo do more to help get gordon shooting more? or is it solely gordon's choice. or is it cliff's offense. are teams taking gordon away? can he not get open?

the way gordon has been used this year on offense is very different from JB's offense. coincidence? maybe.

i dont agree that its him quiet quitting on the team, fwiw

Dude is an almost 33 year old veteran. If he's only taking 6-8 shots a game it's his fault, not the coach or Melo. Grow some balls, get the ball, take some shots.

He is the epitome of the word passive in the way he plays.

Highest paid player on the team, brought in to be the "All-Star Veteran Presence". He absolutely needs to be more assertive with the ball.
