Not meaning to harsh anyone's buzz, but it was something I was thinking about during the game. Appeared to be an off night for Atlanta (wouldn't expect them to shoot 17% from 3 next time) and it's opening night where both teams appeared sloppy, but I think it should be questioned.

I hope the Hawks are good and the Hornets beat a good team on opening night and Hornets definitely have room to improve and tighten things up.

Any Hornets win is a quality win.

Ha, yeah. Was going to echo this. After the complete sleepwalk of a final preseason game, I was just happy to see we weren't still beating ourselves.

We win pretty comfortably we didn't show up in preseason form for the first quarter and a half

I like Rick, of the two co-owners he is easily the more knowledgeable of the two.

Indeed, worthy to celebrate as fans. Hopefully the team takes the good from it and works on the bad. It really is all about dedication to getting better individually and together, every day. Wasn't really surprised Melo came out so off, as he still seems to sort of mini-choke in the bigger moments (first game, national tv game, play in game, etc.). But, I was GLAD to see him get steady in the second half, contributing in more ways than just hitting shots. Still, good to temper perspective.

Loved Mark and PJ’s hard work and performance, Gordon’s steady heady play, Rozier’s fearless attacks which mostly worked, and of course Miller’s smooth poise and effectiveness in his first NBA game…wow!
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Hayward with 6 turnovers is flying under the radar a bit.

Good for Terry though, nobody gets dragged through the mud more by Hornets fan and national media then him.

24 pts, 6 assists, 5 boards and Hawks starting guards shot 7/33.

This isn't a Terry for president post, but the dude is probably one of the most hated players in the league for overall being a pretty impactful guy.

If Terry was some guy we drafted the general NBA would love him, everyone has to kinda downplay him after clowning us so hard for trading Kemba for him.
