I'm pretty sure Haliburton saw Lamelo on him giggled and then Lamelo really went after it defensively like he can do if he really, really wants to. He has the physical tools, may lack lateral quickness. But good for him. He needed that.

It's unfortunate, because Terry was having a good game, but he's at least day-to-day, maybe 3-6 weeks with a groin injury. It sucks with the team's depth, but Brandon Miller gets to start by default and maybe he can do so good that Terry has to be the super sub 6th man.

I hate how you need to shoot 45 freaking threes in today's game to have a chance. We shot nearly 50% from 3, but almost lost cause we only took a "measly" 20

Hope Miller plays like he never wants to come off the bench again tomorrow

We all have our preferences, but if you are up for reading a book, Mike Prada's Spaced Out does a really good job of exploring the evolution of basketball into the current era.

He'll have to ball out because he's a good bit behind Rozier and Hayward currently.

We won but geez Lamelo is just such a dumb, dumb human being.

glad melo made up for an otherwise awful performance, outside of a few nice assists.

I refused to get out of bed early on Sunday for this game, glad they got the win. Lamelo showed he can play defense if he wants to.

Miller had a good defensive game as well??

Lamelo was probably the worst hornet on the floor tonight, but props to him for playing defense on the last possession.

Lamelo owed his team mates that last defensive stop because his handling tonight was just awful, he looks so rusty his passing, handling and 3pt shooting he looks like he hasn't played in a year.
But the good thing about Lamelo is his work ethics and he won't be happy with his performances at the moment

Feels like his awful start isn't the outcome of a lack of effort. The kid seems to care and was clearly getting ticked off that Hali was lighting him up.

Maybe we could all chip in and send a copy to Clifford. I don't think he has read it.
