Starting to feel like Grant Williams was the only one keeping this team from being a g league team.

Another weird game where statistically speaking and in terms of making an actual impact on the court Nick Richards and moose could not be further apart from each other. The Box Score says Nick had a great game. The Box Score says moose didn't do anything. My eyeballs saw that when moose came in the game everything changed and the energy went up five levels. We were finally defending with some purpose.

When are the injury Gods going to stop toying with us? 2 years straight of every time we get a core player back we lose a player to injury. It's beyond comical.

Vasa was just absolutely miserable last night. Right now he has exactly one useful NBA skill which is passing to big men on the pick and roll.

Diabate guards people, Nick and Mark can only guard space. Nick and Mark could be worked around on that if we had rangy twitchy defenders that could cover a lot of ground and air quickly but instead we have stumpy low IQ Miles, baby Salaun, SG sized Cody/Green, weaklings like Miller and Ball. Teams playing these traditional centers and having success on defense are putting guys like Jaden McDaniels/Ant, Mobley, Thompson/Eason around them that can cover exponentially more ground than someone like Miles or Cody. We always look a step or two slow on defense because these guys literally cannot cover the kind of ground they are being asked to physically or mentally.

whats sad is that a team like Philly can put Drummond out there with a bunch of geezers like PG, EG, Lowry and we can't even punish them the same way despite getting lessons on our end every time down the floor

My concern is paying a sizable raise due Nick Richards when he's gonna be 28 at signing.

I believe in Mark as the starter. Always have. Never thought of his injuries as career-threatening despite the year of inactivity.

I also believe in the potential of Diabaté as one of three centers for a competitive roster.

I want that 3rd center to be someone other than Nick Richards on a multiyear deal that pays him starter money or close to it. I think we have sufficient paint defense between Mark and Diabaté. We need our 3rd center to add something different.

2 years?

You say it like years are pieces of Halloween candy.

When you draft a project like TJ you look at in years. Hell didn’t you want Clingan and even he looks years away. This years draft is one of the top 2 worst in history.

Piss poor take. Clingan is impacting the game at a high level, and this was a fine draft.

Aren't you a polite visitor!

Brandon Miller is our 1st/2nd option every night and it might hurt peoples feelings but he's playing a lot more like Hornets era Kelly Oubre than some kind of star player. lots of bad 3s, goes off on a heater once a week or two, occasional dunk and flex. not much substance there right now. development staff has plenty of work to do if this is the "core"

I know you are on a cynicism crusade, but this is a silly comparison. Kelly didn't start putting up the production Brandon is now till like his 7th season. Meanwhile Brandon is a quarter through year 2.

Also injuries have forced Brandon into almost a Luka like role when Ideally he should be more in a Cam Johnson role.
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

I didn’t compare them as prospects or state that he’s a finished product, I compared him as what he’s been playing like this season. Pretty mediocre
