Watching Salaun play basketball is like watching a baby deer cross the street. You just don't know what the hell he is doing out there.

Peterson with a wasted pick.

It may be time to have a tough conversation about Charles Lee. You have melo, miles and mark out there losing to the Wizards, aka the worst team in the NBA. I think we’ve been swept by them 3 games to 0 too.

The Hornets should apologize to the latino community for this performance. All the players have to write one paragraph apologies in Spanish.

If you get swept by the worst team in the league you have to do homework. It's in the CBA probably.

If this ends with us getting Flagg or Harper we have to seriously consider bringing in a new HC.

Lee is flat out atrocious. He's shown no sign of improvement. The offense is give ball to Melo let him create or chuck 3's.

JB was an innovator on offense. Those are rare. Should've kept Borrego.

Lee couldn’t coach an offense if he had the USA Olympic team

My question is, given ~3/4 season of data, is JP seeing cause for concern? Would he feel confident letting him go after just one year?

One more year of this coach is what I expect, and I'm worried.

The mark of a good or even average coach is, when things get tough their gameplan can keep games from devolving into complete god damn clown shows. We had the best three players in the game today (depending on how much you think Middleton has left in the tank), all healthy, got the ultra-rare good Josh Green offensive game, and still couldn't even keep this game in check.

Lee has nothing offensively when LaMelo+Miller aren't collectively hitting 50+% from three on ridiculous volume or Mark doesn't have a matchup he can exploit a hundred times a game.

This team checked out a long time ago, and I'm ready for Lee to get Dunlapped. Blame the roster all you want, but the Nets are doing more with less, the Grizzlies deal with our level of injury issues basically every year and have an actual system to fall back on. The Pistons are above .500 and probably headed to the playoffs with THAT roster. Lee may get a pass due to injuries this year, but I don't have a good feeling about him at all.

Peterson is the bigger problem though, unless his moves were purposeful acts of roster sabotage to tank.

Preach!

I agree 100% not a fan of Peterson or Lee. Sadly we are most likely stuck with Peterson, but he needs to take accountability for his bad draft pick and the hiring of Lee.

If we get Flagg or Harper we seriously have to find a legit HC. Can't have a bad HC teaching bad habits to young players. It's gonna be hard for players to grow in this give the ball to Melo or chuck 3's system we run.

Best case scenario we get Flagg and we bring in a real HC and not some project HC.

JP needs to take accountability for Lee and Salaün, but don't forget about Green. Peterson should undo his first 3 major moves as a new GM.

He has very little to show for the additions he's made. None of his first wave of investments look good right now.

I wish we could say at least one does look good. But none do.

Yeah I'm not trying to slander him, but he's made some bad decisions to start. I just don't want him ignoring those mistakes which will hurt us in the long run.

I get the goal was to tank this season, but man some of these losses aren't even competitive. We can lose while playing respectable basketball. We just look awful as a team. Salaun has shown no signs of improvement and neither has Lee.

We have to make some serious decisions this off-season.

Moussa. that's it

what's scarier is that the Mark trade was probably more damaging than any of the aforementioned moves before it got rescinded... if Peterson trades Mark at an even bigger loss in the offseason, that's gonna be nasty.

Moussa looks good but he was a small addition on a 2-way contract. Not much on the line.

I agree, the Mark trade made us worse originally.

Peterson seemed to want to tear down the wrong parts of this build. He should look closer at scrapping his own work first.

It's shoddy.

Elimination chamber. But yeah I watched that myself. Wwe paid live events will always be priority watching over any live sports game. If the hornets land flagg and its my happiest moment as a fan of this team in franchise history that could change. But its gotta be flagg, hes got the archetype of the players I've always followed and found the most fun to watch.
