There was one 5 point swing and one 4 point swing that I can remember off the top of my head because guys like Josh Green and Wendell Moore simply don't know what to do with the ball in their hands if it's not a corner 3. I mean, that is the game right there and you can say that most of the season. We cannot go into next season starting (or playing) Josh Green, like c'mon.

Starters once again had a decent start to this game regardless of cardio Josh but once we put a lineup out there that included Moore/Garrett/Nurk it was over. Daquan Jefferies was one of our best players....

Felt the same way about NicRic. Couldn't fathom a scenario where they kept him beyond the deadline.

If Peterson keeps Green, my alarm is sounding. The Salaün pick is just the first straw.

It should not be hard to figure out that offense doesn't function when Mark is a paint player instead of a stretch big, and Josh Green is on the floor. You're basically playing 3-on-5 with initiators/facilitators. Finishers have lost a ton of value in the modern game if they can only finish. And Green couldn't even finish a fast break layup last night. He's not a prolific spacer either.

Lucky if some GM considers his contract neutral.

Does JP consider it positive? Can't fathom that. So upgrade his spot. If you can't, then start Mann.

It's nonsense. Mann would help unlock LaMelo. It's not like some marginal upgrade on defense from Green covers the gap in fluency on offense given we play with a traditional 5.

You shouldn't be able to completely shut down an offense by doubling one ball handler on the perimeter and yet, that is what teams are able to do. If you think back to earlier in the season when LaMelo was on his tear, we still didn't win because nobody else around him did anything positive. Talent issue is #1 problem and there's a lot to be concerned about with Lee as a head coach with an offensive system that has mostly been chuck threes.

Squanders LaMelo's talent. Should not be so easy to shut down a whole offense by stopping the player best at creating it.

No penalty for smothering LaMelo. How much longer can Peterson watch it happen?
