Can't believe how the Pacers keep getting away with this. Like OKC can't see it coming.

Indy have 2/3 of the best players and the best coach. And two of those guys have won titles.

So, realistically, this isn't all that surprising. OKC are deeper and SGA is the best player, but Indiana are more battle tested.

I do think OKC is the clear favorite and Pacers are the underdog, but its gotten blown out of proportion how big of a dog they are in the series. I agree it shouldn't really be surprising that they could win.

I know a ton of embarrassment has happened to our franchise over the years but for the Knicks to fire Thibs and then literally get rejected from half a dozen coaches even Rick Pitino is such a bad look.

Another example of how acting rashly without a plan can, and most of the time will, backfire. If the Knicks had quietly looked for a new coach and got assurances beforehand they'd be in a much better situation.

One really cool thing about them Ive noticed is that they don't stop running their normal team offense at the end of games. Most teams let their offenses slow down and become static and iso heavy at the end of games. Indiana has guys flying all over the place and whipping the ball around til the very last second of the game. I think this could be part of why they are good at making these comebacks. They can keep scoring in quick bunches til the very end of the game.

Pretty good example of what I was getting at here. OKC down 6 with 92 seconds left and needs a quick scoring burst. Their possession is a 20 second Shai isolation.

Indiana's approach in this situation would have been so much different. They were the ones up 6 when they get the stop here and they immediately run and get a fast break bucket.

It reminded me a bit of when the Hornets fired JB.

1 - lol at espn at turning sga into lakers talk during finals
2 - attacking sga, best way to keep him tired, foul trouble, hurt his offense. plus... sga is a good defender, but still worst defender on perimeter for thunder.
3 - can you imagine how bad melo would get attacked in a series like this lol.
