that worked great last year

It's the idea of twin towers that is intriguing. Not looking to duplicate as I would take Edgecombe and Bailey before Maluach.

Khaman has a lot of Tidjane in him as they both are pretty bad at basketball now and lack the ability for high end production... but because they are bad they give you the illusion that they have a high ceiling, meanwhile there are just simply better 18 yr olds that you can draft that are better now and still present as high if not higher ceiling.

Khaman prior to coming to Duke averaged like 2 ppg in every other competition he had participated in.

drafting Edey last year would have been a fun twin towers for Spurs.

These mocks projecting Hornets picking Maluach are making me nervous. Unless they’ve got some master plan to add a pick for a swap with Spurs and get Harper while moving Melo for a big return of picks and a quality SG, I do not want KM. Agree with JMAC3 on his similarities to Tiddy on rawness and the dangers of “potential”. Peterson, I’m looking at you….team needs to make a smart pick this year, not a “clever” pick.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Honestly - if presented with Maluach, Sorber, or Raynaud I’m struggling to choose and likely picking Sorber. In other words, don’t want Maluach in the mix at 4.

Scout takes that paint him as a lanky Deandre Jordan with starter upside, 'a ways to go,' and need for more lower body strength (familiar), is not the type of swing I want to take top 5. Yes, he's big and agile.

I really like this guy for the Sixers with Embiid nearing the end of his streak of injuries. Philly fans think Joel is finished.

But not 3.

Trade back to 8 (Nets).
