speaking of all-stars.... i think is sucks that wade is going to steal an all-star spot from a deserving player.
i dont care how good wade is... no player on a team that is 8-32 should ever go to an all-star game. period. not to mention he missed the first month of the season and leads the league in turnovers...........by a mile. on top of that, his numbers are down across the board. completely and totally undeserving this year.
Crash and the All Star weekend

So KG shouldn't have made it all those years in Minnesota? Also, considering players 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 12 on the TOPG list are also going to the all-star game, I don't really think it's fair to focus on that stat.
So what if his numbers are down, if they're still better than everybody else's? He had a slow start, but he's easily the #1 SG in the East according to PER. Who's the guy getting snubbed? If it were another SG, it'd be Vince Carter, and he's playing much worse. So is Ray Allen, a very nice "team success" pick. If anybody is going to get stupidly selected by the fans, it's Jason Kidd. He's getting credit for doing what he always does... averaging 10-8-10. But he refuses to shoot, is horrible when he does, and his team sucks too on offense.
The "team success" argument makes more sense, but I really don't want to see an "all-star" team that includes four Pistons or Ray Allen because their team is doing well. Similarly, I don't want to see Wade or Redd sitting at home because they've got fewer than.... an undefined "good enough" level. The All-Star game is supposed to be about individual players, not teams. That's what we have the playoffs for.

for the record, garnett has only played on 3 losing teams in his career. once in his rookie season (when he did not make the all-star team) and the past two years. here's the difference, last year the twolves record after 40 games was 20-20. the year before it was 19-21. BIG difference between 19-21 and 8-32. hell, we are playing like crap this year and we have twice as many wins as miami. they've lost like 15 in a row. they are on pace to win 16 game. 16! you cant defend that.
