Crash is my favorite player and I would have loved to see him get his dues, as would Sheed.

Unfortunately they were replacing big man with big man.

He's hurt and probably wouldn't play anyway. Maybe he was considered but Cats management said he couldn't play so they went to Sheed instead.

To top it all off, he doesn't want to go. Stern only picked him out of spite

Which is why I said Sheed would rather see Crash go.

Stern may have picked him out of spite (quite possible knowing Stern's ways) or he may have picked him because he was the next highest vote getter at the C after D12 (Shaq split the conference) and the East only had 3 players at the 4/5. They needed another big body.

I said it before but will say it again, I wish Stern would have picked Crash.

EO50 has better stats than Sheed - if we are basing it on stats.

They're about the same. I guess if it had to be a big that would knock out Turkoglu, Josh Smith, and Calderon... but even Big Z or Haywood have played better than Sheed...

Looking like Kobe is not going to play in the All Star game because of his finger.

Crash should take his spot.

I don't care that Kobe is on the West team.

Ray Allen has replaced Caron Butler. NOW Wallace has been snubbed.

I never once said he was snubbed, thus the post.

Rasheed goes over Wallace, so do Butler/Jamison/whoever else gets complained about.

Actually did deserve consideration over Allen--that was my point.

I like Crash and wish he'd made it but for all star purposes we all saw what Ray Allen did last nite.

I do think that Crash did deserve to be in the conversation of players considered for the squad though.

But lets be honest, everyone knows they just pick the best players from the best teams, SANS the perennial all-stars like Wade that happen to be on a poor team.

If we were a top 4 team or at least had a winning record, Wallace would be an all-star. Or if he consistantly hit game winners or something else that got more attention.
